It was a Redux of the St. James Infirmary Concert of 2012, and raised over $6400.00 for the Orchestra's continuing education Outreach program. It's the WJO's vision to be an instrumental force in the promotion and development of big band jazz.
The WJO performed at 9 Winnipeg schools in 2013. Guest artists gave lectures and school groups were invited to perform as part of the WJO's concert series. They also mentored students involved in the Manitoba High School Honour Jazz Band.
